Erika was our doula and she was amazing. What we loved most about her was the fact that she was the "Everything" woman! I could ask her any question any time. My husband asked her questions. We felt so much support through a difficult and long labor. Whether she was pressing on my hips feeding me ice chips or giving my husband the support he needed she just made me feel completely comfortable and confident. I'm now blessed with a new friend and she will definately be the first on my list to call when we expect baby #2! Thanks Erika!

Renting a birthing tub was the best decision I made in regards to my labour. I got in the tub early on and it helped keep me calm and relaxed during my contractions. I got out of the tub when the contractions got a bit closer together (just for a change of scenery) and my midwives STRONGLY recommended I get back into the tub, because I was coping so much better in it than out of it. The tub was easy to set up and easy to fill. It was big enough for two people which was nice, because my husband got to get in with me for a while. All in all, I would never labour without a birthing tub in the future, I am so happy that I rented it.

Lindsay provided me with techniques to help (my partner) with pain management during contractions. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Doula. What impressed me the most was her enthusiasm and energy.

Lindsay?s support, friendship, reassurance, knowledge, and physical assistance was exceptional. I was able to have a drug free birth! Having someone there for the whole process starting in pregnancy through to post-natal at home was worth so much to me and my growing family.

What I liked most was how she involved (the father) by showing him how to do what she was doing so that he could be a part of helping me through the contractions. I also was impressed with how Lindsay involved my (11 year old) daughter and explained different things to her.

As a first time mother I tried to educate myself as much as possible for a safe and healthy birth. Lindsay lent me great books and she was very knowledgeable about what to expect for a birth. When things did not go as planned she asked the Midwives relevant questions that I would not have thought of to ask. She helped me feel informed during the whole labour and delivery. She was very calm while my husband was stressing out. This helped me stay calm. I would recommend Lindsay to any first time mother or someone planning a natural birth.
